Nick hails from the suburbs of St. Louis where he grew up loving Cardinals baseball and playing tennis. He later served as the least-coordinated captain of the Naval Academy Men’s Tennis team and is proud to boast of his 6-1 record against West Point.
Prior to launching a career in wealth management, Nick spent eight years on active duty as an officer onboard fast-attack submarines. During his time in uniform, Nick’s tours provided him extensive analytical experience in reactor plant testing and nuclear propulsion; high-stakes problem solving experience during ship construction and at-sea operations; and bad-joke telling experience while serving as a Naval ROTC instructor.
Nick and his wife Stephanie have three children, Charlotte, Violet and Jack. Their family enjoys athletics, the outdoors and relaxing during the 12 minutes each weekend when all three children nap at the same time. When time permits, Nick enjoys watching sports and taking far-too-aggressive hacks at golf balls.
Nick was the valedictorian of the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 2011. He holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School, and he completed the CFA® Level I in 2019.
